Nymphenburg Palace full of people during Covid-19 times

The Nymphenburg Palace in Münich, Germany is at the moment all white. The River and lake infront of the Palace turned into ice. Despite of the mutation of CoVid-19 virus in other European countries and South Africa people are still enjoying the snow while playing outside. Because of the lockdown in Bavaria, the Palace is close. But you can find tons of people outside Nymphenburg Palace doing their daily walk exercise without following the 1.5 to 2 meters distance and not wearing mouth-nose masks. There are a lot of young people skating on the frozen river of Nymphenburg Palace. Small children with their parents are happily sliding in the snows.

Nymphenburg Frozen River

On the sideways of the River people aren’t afraid to walk on the frozen icy roads. The parking lot in the palace is full. Take away Cafés and Bakeries are all busy selling hot drinks and fresh breads. It is not allowed to sell Alcoholic Drinks in small stores because of the restriction lockdown in the region.

In the crossing high street going to the Palace, people are not afraid hitting each others shoulder. Some are attentively following the desired distance while some are doing what they want. Police workers are doing their best to control the crowd.
