Finally, the day has arrive to receive the second dose of Co-Vid19 vaccine. I touched my upper left arm, felt the skin under my palm and thought, am i ready for it?
It was my 3rd day at work when i received the email that the 3weeks time of waiting is now gone. The schedule for the second vaccine is now posted. I typed my name, took a deep breath, and chose the 14:00 appointment time. It was not the most perfect time for my body to receive the vaccine because i am working on a night shift.
The night before my vaccine day, i was busy taking care of patients with a positive CoVid19 diagnosis. After the endorsement time at 6:20, I immediately went home and tried to sleep, as deep as it could be. I heard my alarm clock and stood up at 12:00noon to eat my lunch first and got prepared.
I brought my first dose of CoVid19 Vaccine documents because the doctor will be scanning the code(in the document) to reassure if i truly received the 1st dose. There will be interview again, and the doctor will ask you,if you feel healthy at the moment. My eyes were still sleepy and i answered back, Yes. I chose my left arm rather than the right, so that i could be able to move more my dominant hand. He disinfected my arm, wipe it with a cotton, i closed my eyes, and i slowly felt the Vaccine coming to my muscles.
I went home and tried again to catch a sleep. I slept until 18:00 and woke up to prepare myself again for night shift. I could feel that my left arm aches but i could move it. I drove to work with my bicycle. At 3:00 dawn, i told my colleague that i am nauseated and was experiencing a headache. I immediately sat down, raised my feet to the wall. This helps when the blood pressure drops down. He checked my Blood Pressure- 110/60mmHg. It is normal. Deep down my body, i felt that i am experiencing a light fever.
The duty was over and i changed my clothes in the locker room. My left arm was aching too much, Painscale 8/10. I cannot remove my upper suits because of the pain. But i spoke to myself and said, deep breathing would help, then i placed my left arm a little higher while having a facial grimace from the excruciating pain that i felt. It was snowing outside and i should wore my Pullover, but i rejected. I cannot place my arm higher than my head. I wore my thick jacket and carried my Pullover. Upon reaching home, i immediately took a shower while only using my dominant hand. I cannot move my left arm. I lay in my bed while paying attention that i should not lay on my left side. My body was aching too much, my joints were all sensible and i had a light fever.
It lasted for 2 days. And afterwards, i felt healthy again. It was like nothing happened. I am willing to do a Blood Titer test after 1-2 months, to check if my body develop the anti Virus.
People have their own opinions about the topic Vaccine. As for me, i willingly submitted myself to receive the vaccine.
