Ampelblume /Traffic Lights Flowers
is located inside the SWM Stadtwerke in Munich. This is a secret place that i recommend you to check.
The Airborne
is located in Angerhof, Munich. This sculpture has a futuristic effect about molecules and was sculpted by Christopher Klein. The biggest molecule has a measurement of more than 6 meters. You don’t need an entrance fee to see this sculpture.
Schwabinger Tor
is a tram station in the newly built district in Munich. It has a hyperboloid paraboloid surface style painted in white. The material used for covering are welded steels and is the same in Munich Allianz Arena. The height of the roof is 10meters high and on the other side is 9 meters. If you want to check this station, you can take the U2 subway line from the main station and drop off in Scheiplatz then ride the bus 140,141,142 and drop off in Parzival platz.
Another alternative; Take U4 Arabella Park and drop off in Odeonplatz, then ride in U6 Garching and drop off in Dietlindenstraße.
Endless Stair-case
is located in Ganghoferstraße 29A, 80339, Munich.
This staircase was finished in the year 2004 and the artist behind is Olafur Eliasson. This place is free to everyone and there is no opening hours. It was built to create movement. They call this ,,Umschreibung‘‘ which means peripharasis.
If you are planning to go here, you can take the subway station U4 and U5 from the main station/,,Hauptbahnhof‘‘.
BMW Welt
is located in Olympia Park 1, 80809 and was opened in 2007.
If you will visit the place personally, it has a futuristic effect with a deconstructivism style.
Deconstructivism- gives the impression of the fragmentation of the constructed building, commonly characterised by an absence of obvious harmony, continuity, or symmetry. [1]
You can also make a tour inside the museum. As of this moment, it is closed due to Pandemic.
Westfriedhof Station
is a subway station U1 in Munich. This station was opened in May 24, 1998. The location of this Station is below Orpheusstraße.
How to go here? From the main station take the U1 subway station and drop off in Westfriedhof.
The Walking Man
is located in Leopoldstraße 36, 80802. It measures 17meters high and weighs 16 tones. This is a 1995 sculpture by Jonathan Borofsky. In this place you can find a lot of cafes and restaurants.
Ohel Jakob Synagogue
is located in Sankt-Jakob-Platz 18, 80331. This is the new main synagogue for the Jewish main community in Munich and was built in between 2004-2006. You can have a tour inside and learn its symbolism.
Theresenwiese U-Subway Station
If you love yellow color vibes, this is the place to be. Avoid rush hour if you want to take some good photos.
