St. Gallen is a city in the northeastern part of Switzerland high in the valley and the capital of the canton St. Gallen. It is hilly which is almost above 700meters sea level and has a heavy snow during winter time. The city is located in between Bodensee/ Lake Constance and Alpenzell Alps. Don’t be surprise that the weather here is more cloudy because of its geographical location. You will fall inlove with the old city, old beautiful private villas, the Abbey of Saint Gall, museums, theaters and the beautiful parks.

This city lounge was designed by the artist namely Pipilotti Rist and the architect Carlos Martinez as a public living room. The color of the lounge is mainly red. The hanging clouds or they called it „bubbles“ are known to be the ceiling light.
