Bellagio is a small municipality with a population of 3,694 (December 2019). The province is located in between two lakes namely Como and Lecco or in Italian the famous „Triangolo Lariano“.
Bellagio is one of the most visited place in the region of Lake Como and Lecco. Do not be surprise that there are lots of tourists visiting the area from all over the world. You will be thrilled in the beauty of theold town surrounded by water and mountains. It is a hilly area, do not be surprise that you will have to climb a lot of stairs.

Tip: Always bring cash with you, in the local stores and cafes, it is easier and faster when you pay it with cash.
Parking Area?: If you arrive a little bit late it might be difficult for you to find a parking lot.
Places to Visit

Lungolago Europa
Enjoy a morning or evening walk in the alley of this park. You will find beautiful colorful flowers with a lake view and mountains. You will also find some benches that you can sit and breathe some fresh air away from the loud noises of cities.

Basilica San Giocomo
located in a picturesque area in Borgo, around the old town. The church is designed in a Como-Lombard Romanesque style. It was built in the 11th and 12th century, later the years during 17th century it was altered and turned it into Baroque style. In the twentieth century, the community transformed it again into its original form Romanesque style.

Bellagio Old town area
Walking around the area of Via Giuseppe Garibaldi, Bellagio is fascinating. Different food restaurants, great italian local stores filled with cultures are things that will dazzle up your visit.


Punta Spartivento
is the area located in the tip of Bellagio separating the lake into two. It is a triangular shape subdivided into lake Como and lake Lecco. The area is also separating the wind into the two lakes. Go by a walk and take the street going to Via Eugenio Vitali, then you will arrive in the area.
Behind the Punta Spartivento is a renting place for boats and kayaking.


Villa Melzi
is one of the most visited Villa in the area of Como lake. It was the summer residence of the late Francesco Melzi d‘Eril, Vice President of Napoleon in the year 1800 of the Republic of Italy. It is not allowed for the public to visit the Villa inside but you can enjoy the botanical garden facing the lake and mountains. Entrance fee is 6,50euros.

Port Area Bellagio
The best method to arrive easier around Bellagio is by ship. You can enjoy the majestic view of lakes and mountain while breathing fresh air from the lake.

Lido di Bellagio
If you want to take a rest and enjoy summer, visit Lido di Bellagio. It is located near the garden of Villa Melzi. Bring your summer suits and enjoy the sun. It is a beautiful beach club area with Pavillion. Here you can also find Restaurant and absolutely free wi-fi for all the guests.

Beach in San Giovanni
is a beautiful pebble beach with no entrance fee. Location: Via Paolo Carcano 28, loc. San Giovanni, Bellagio

Scalotta per Pescallo
is located on the right side of Bellagio. If you like water sports, you can find a rental place in this area for boats and kayaks. Location: Via Sfondrati 1, 22021
